Wine Sales

The heart and soul of what we do. We list approximately 400 wines from wine growing countries all over the world. We choose wines which we believe can offer something a little different from their peers. While we might not offer the 'cheapest' wine in a certain category or region, we are very confident we offer wines which are exceptional value. Our wines come from small producers where the focus is on the quality of the juice going into the bottle, not the quantity which can be produced. We focus on hand-crafted wines where the love and the passion of the wine-maker is evident. You won't see our wines on the shelves of the supermarket giants. Mass production by machinery is not a method of viticulture or vinification that attracts us.

While the majority of our wines come from France, we are ever expanding our offering from the New World. We strongly believe the style of wines produced in the southern Hemisphere countries is becoming more palatable to the more traditional taste of the UK. We have also seen a significant improvement in quality in the last ten years. A trend we believe will persist. And often the wines from the New World are very competitively priced versus their Old World peers.

In France we take much pride in the number of Burgundy domaines who we act on behalf of. The list continues to grow and we hope that we will soon be able to offer wines from all the Villages of Burgundy on an exclusive basis. We are fully aware that  Burgundy remains a minefield for many, so by us identifying small, high quality producers, we are able to offer the best quality wines at prices which are not over the top like many of the 'well-known' domaines.
