Château Correnson, Rhône

Château Correnson is found in St Genies de Comolas in the southern part of the Rhône Valley. It has 70 hectares of vines and they maintain a high standard of viticulture and traditional vinification values. Grapes are harvested by hand and carefully sorted before pressing, something that we feel is very important in ensuring wines are the highest possible quality.

What caught our eye was their range of Lirac wines, both red, white and a really interesting rosé which is an excellent partner to food. Correnson also produces a very high quality Côtes du Rhône, a wine which we find all too often now just hides behind its name and quality has been compromised. Luckily not the case here.
