Monday 8th February and Monday 22nd February 2010
‘Ladies Tasting’ – To be held in our Norfolk office, these are two courses, each lasting two hours. The first will cover the main grape varieties, looking at their characteristics, where they come from and comparing Old World and New World. In the second session we will be looking at France and its main wine-producing regions – Bordeaux, Burgundy, Rhone, Loire and Champagne. Pate and cheese will be provided at both sessions.
So if you are a lady in Norfolk who would like to know more about her wines, then this is the perfect course for you. Book your husbands to get the children their supper that night (once they have collected them from school) and have yours ready from when you return! Perfect start to 2010!
Tickets cost £65 per head for two evenings, or £35 per head for one evening. Please contact Peta Leith (peta@edwardparkerwines.co.uk) if you would like to attend, or for more information.

Edward Parker Wines Online Auction - We will be holding another one of our very popular online auctions from 23rd to 25th February 2010. This provides an excellent opportunity to buy and sell wines and we are asking those who are interested in selling to let us know what wines they would be interested in offering so we are able to value them and set a reserve on your behalf. Single bottles, loose bottles or cases of any size will be considered. In some instances we will ask for photographs to confirm the condition of the labels and the levels in the bottle. We will also request a storage history on the wines offered. Sellers are charged a commission of 5% on the sale value of their wine.
Please contact peta@edwardparkerwines.co.uk as soon as possible if you are interested in selling any wine.
